Colors of Cambodia is an organization created in 2003, established to introduce art materials and the joy of art to the underprivileged school children of the Siem Reap Cambodia area. Thanks to numerous volunteers and art mentors, the children who we work with have the chance to uncover their artistic abilities and discover the wonderful world of creativity and color. |

Colors of Cambodia was founded by artist and entrepreneur, William Gentry and receives support from his company, Positronic Asia Pte Ltd. During a trip to Cambodia several years ago, William was in awe of the artistic history the region had to offer. Yet he noticed most of the children in the Siem Reap impoverished villages had never had the means or opportunity to use art materials. Thus this charity was founded, to bring to light the potential creativity of the children of the most underprivilleged villages in the area, through material donations and mentoring. Special thanks go to the numerous volunteers for their assistance. Since inception, The Colors of Cambodia has established partnerships with over a dozen schools and taught several hundred children. And one of our long term goals is to enable every child in Cambodia to experience the pleasures of art. |
